Julia Simon shares the importance of supporting the Bill Dickey Scholarship Association (BDSA)

This scholarship is particularly special to me because I have been fortunate enough to participate in the Bill Dickey Invitational for three years. That experience has not only given me lifelong friends, it has also given me the life skills I need to be successful both on and off the golf course. What I have learned from the BDI Plenary sessions and leadership workshops are already helping me navigate my new world at Stanford. Stanford’s high academic expectations and intense curriculum have apprehension written all over it, but because of BDI, I’m ready for the challenge. By awarding me a BDSA Scholarship, you have given me the opportunity to focus on the most important reason why I’m attending college – to use what I learn to improve our lives.
